Treatment of olfactory disturbance. Olfactory treatment from Cheong-Min Clinic!

This patient came in due to an olfactory disturbance that occurred more than 10 years ago.

The palate sense was good and it was purely an olfactory disturbance.

He/she tried rhinitis surgery, but the sense of smell did not improve,

This patient gave up after being informed by the university hospital that it was an olfactory nerve problem and thus incurable, etc.

We have treated this olfactory disturbance three times.

After three treatments, the olfactory sense improved to 8 points from 3 points.

It has already improved a lot, but we expect more improvement so the patient is on additional treatment.

If you have heard that treatment is not possible, do not give up, try our olfactory treatment.

Old olfactory disturbances can be treated!

Cheong-Min Clinic Olfactory Sense Treatment Case

Hello, this is ○○○.

I visited the clinic because of my olfactory sense problem and I think it’s been a month since I started treatment. After the treatment, the progress was great and now I can smell almost normally.

First of all, I’d like to thank my doctor. I visited several ENT doctors in Seoul, but nothing worked. I found on the internet that regenerative therapy was possible here, and after consulting with my doctor, I started treatment. Now, the treatment progress is great and if it keeps getting better, I will be awesome.

Thank you.

Olfactory cell regeneration therapy

         The olfactory cells are located in the upper region of the nasal cavity. When  damage occurs in the olfactory cells, it can cause a reduced sense of smell. There are two common causes of damage to olfactory cells;

Firstly, resulting from having a cold, secondly, a blocked nose by cysts and rhinitis. For the first case, we inject a dose of drugs that can retrieve the function of olfactory cells and regenerative factors directly into the olfactory mucosa where cells are located inside of the nasal cavity. For the second case, we first use radiofrequency therapy to treat the rhinitis and cysts, and then conduct cell regenerative treatment as ashown in the first case.

The treatment time including Radiofrequency therapy lasts for 5-15 minutes and the time needed in the clinic for the whole procedure will take about 30-40 minutes.

Statistically the patients show about an 80% improvement in olfactory function. This is the unique olfactory cell regenerative therapy in South Korea.
