This 66-year-old woman, recently stressed out, was awakened by the feeling of fullness in her ear at dawn and came to my clinic in the morning of the day.
We suspected she suffered from ‘sudden deaf’ caused by stress-induced blood circulation disorder.

We examined her hearing using puretone audiometry.
Sure enough, it was a severe sudden hearing loss with a low frequency dropping to 60dB.
